Our third time coming here as we love the peace and tranquility. Lodge is so well equipped and the smart TVs were a welcome upgrade. Dogs very content there too, will be back.

The lodge was beautiful, the little touches like a basket of crusty loaf, cereal, jam, there was tea, coffee and in the fridge a bottle of juice, wine, milk and butter. There was fluffy bathrobes and slippers for the sunken hot tub on the deck and the grounds were amazing very peaceful. Loads of dog walking and quiet fishing lake only available to the people in the lodges. I would definitely come back!

Absolutely beautiful lodge and surroundings. We had the most amazing time and it was so relaxing. The hamper provided that extra special touch.

Best get away lodge we have visited with kids. Luxurious in every way. Everything in the house was clean and up to date. Heating was fantastic in the cold winter. Rooms and beds where specious and comfortable. Kids could run around the house as there was so much space. Bathrooms super luxurious. Jacuzzi was the perfect thing during the night whilst watching the stars and sipping on non alcoholic champagne ????

Excellent facilities in a beautiful setting. This is the perfect location for dog-owners looking for a quiet get away.

We had a wonderful time. Quiet, nice walks, they have thought of everything to give you a luxury comfortable holiday. Would return in a heart beat.

The accommodation was excellent. Personally I would have liked a mirror in the second bedroom as the only mirror was a shaving one in the on suite shower room. The location was beautiful. So peaceful with lovely views. The only disappointing aspect of the holiday was that my husband and his friend found the fishing very frustrating. They didn't catch anything all week. They had spoken to the maintenance guy who said that otters had been in the lake and eaten the fish! So considering its advertised as a fishing holiday, it was a bit of a let down. But apart from that we enjoyed the week, especially the weather.

Amazing lodge, suprise welcome basket that was very generous, lovely 5* touches like a hotel. Lovely location, loved the planting to create privacy between lodges. Quality fittings and well stocked utensils in the kitchen. Perfect family space to visit our new grandbabies and local zoo. The only thing to add would be a couple of additional signs just before and just after the tennis court area for additional feeling of on right track.

Beautiful well appointed lodge in lovely surroundings. Perfect for our dawg and us..

My son is disabled so a single story was excellent. The accommodation for a holiday let was almost perfect apart from the thin walls between the living area and the bedrooms. We have a young child who went to bed long before we two. Although parched (not the owner's fault) the surrounding grounds are lovely and the lake delightful just a shame it was a hike to the top in respect of my son who was unable to go up there. To sum up, my granddaughter when, on the last day was asked if she will be pleased to go home said, "Yes but equally I want to stay here". The only real downside for us was the road because my son has a back injury and Ankylosing Spondylitis which reacts badly to a bumpy road. There is so much to do in the area and we had a lovely and memorable stay at Ramson Lodge. Than you.

Great Facilities - all round a great way to do a reset!

Great stay, wonderful lodge! Will def be back ????

Could not fault this place at all. Beautiful lodge, beautiful settings, had everything we wanted for our short getaway. Loved how warm the lodge was despite the cold weather outside! Dog friendly, great hot tub, lovely complimentary hamper on arrival too. Great surrounding areas - decent pubs not too far away, some great take aways (some that are happy to deliver to your door too), lovely forest walks for the dogs as well. Can’t wait to come back and experience the lodge in a summer setting too! Have already recommended to many friends and family!
Verified Guest
Beautiful lodge beautiful surroundings . Peaceful location can’t wait to visit again and take my dog next time!
Verified Guest
It was a great setting and the layout was perfect. Very comfortable beds and cosy bath robes! The hot tub was much enjoyed. It was ideal for a baby and dog! However, we felt the kitchen could have been better equipped with better quality knives, bread board and some tea/ coffee cups would have been nice. There were no mirrors in the bathroom in the second bedroom, just a tiny shaving mirror and no mirror in the second bedroom either. If these matters were addressed I would certainly award the lodge five stars.
