Doves Barn was simply incredible. Had everything and more for the group of us that visited at the end of September. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Special thanks to Eleanor & Neville for ensuring the trip was a memorable one.

Had a lovely time away in Doves Barn celebrating 3 of my kids 40th birthday this year. Had 8 teenage grandchildren with us they loved it there. The barn was very easy to find . Very clean. It supplied plenty of storage for your foods with about 6x fridge & freezers a washer if you needed to was your clothes. There were lots of games for entertaining, Table Tennis- pool- lots of other games not to mention the hot tub which everyone enjoyed. The grounds are nicely kept.

Although overall we enjoyed our stay, and we appreciated the bottle of wine and welcome pack we will not be returning because :- - The rental price we too high, not value for money - Having to provide our own towels is ridiculous bearing in mind the extortionate rental price and that some of our guests had to fly to be there. This is a deal breaker for us. - Despite advertising 5 bathrooms, only 2 of these produced hot water so all our guests had to share those two bathrooms. - Two of the so called "bedrooms" were gallery rooms, open to light and noise from one of the lounge areas and from each of the other gallery rooms. We had to move children around to different rooms so they could sleep.

Doves Barn is a unique holiday venue. We were a group of 16, varying in age from 12 up to 84, celebrating a milestone birthday. We found the Barn very comfortable and well equipped, the dining area lovely for a celebratory meal. There was plenty of outside space for outdoor games and the hot tub was enjoyed, also the pool table was enjoyed by many of our group. The village was a pleasant walk away, and the Indian takeaway very convenient!

Plenty of space outside and inside for our large extended family which included small children. Adults loved the hot tub and pool table and we all appreciated having two large lounges.
Emma
This place is in a fantastic spot, but the garden needs some work for lively dogs to enjoy safely.
Martin
Comfortable and handy
Alex
We really enjoyed our stay. The place is bright, roomyand well-furnished-definitely one of the nicest in the neighbourhood. Hope to return soon, thanks!
Emma
We really enjoyed the cottage, it's beautifully situated in a lovely village, definitely a place we'd visit again. That said, a bit confusing about the dog policy-if your dog sleeps in the bedroom, you can't access the premier room. It might help if they clarified this better when booking, "Dog Tolerant" sounds more accurate than "Dog Friendly." Still, overall a nice stay!
Emma
Aspen House really is a lovely place, perfect for a relaxing break. The location's spot on, with easy walks nearby and close to Snape and Aldeburgh. The house itself is beautifully decorated and super well stocked - the south-facing garden is a real suntrap! Big thanks to the housekeeper, who was so friendly and helpful. We're already planning our next visit!
James
The cottage was charmingand the village felt so peaceful and perfect for relaxing.
Emma
We had an enjoyable stay at this lovely cottage right in the heart of a charming village in Suffolk. The views from the upstairs balcony, overlooking the river and Orford Ness, were stunning. The kitchen was well stockedand the hot tub was a real treat after a day of exploring. It's perfect for walking straight from the door with shops, bakeries, butchersand pubs just a couple of minutes away. Also, easy to visit Sutton Hoo, Woodbridgeand Aldeburgh. Highly recommended for a relaxing break!
Sam
Really enjoyed our stay! The owner was super involved, making everything smooth. Gorgeous place, comfy bedsand all we needed was there.
Martin
When we arrived, the central heating was broken, so our first night was freezing! It took ages for the place to warm up after the engineer fixed it the next day. Such a shame to start our holiday like that. On the bright side, the housekeeper was really helpful and attentive throughout our stay.
