Woodlands Rest is a luxurious safari-style glamping tent on a family-run boutique glamping site in Hintlesham, Suffolk. Set within over 20 acres of ancient forest with a wildlife lake where otters and mallards roam, this is proper countryside glamping done well. The site has just three other tents so it stays peaceful and private throughout your stay.
Hintlesham sits near the Suffolk/Essex border. Hadleigh is 5 miles away with independent shops and a weekly market. Dedham Vale National Landscape is 10 miles out a paradise for walkers. The coast is under 20 miles away.
Woodlands Rest sleeps 6 across three bedrooms a king-size room, a king-size cabin bed (accessed by ladder steps) and a bunk bedroom suitable for adults or children.

The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features a Chesterfield sofa and hand-crafted wooden kitchen. The bathroom has underfloor heating, a roll-top bath and separate shower. Outside: a covered veranda, BBQ patio, fire pit and a private wood-fired hot tub.
Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park, Alton Water, Felixstowe beach and Dedham Vale are all within 20 miles.

Woodlands Rest is located in Hintlesham, Suffolk, near the Suffolk/Essex border. The village is easily reached via the A1071 from Ipswich heading west. Private parking is available on site approximately 50 metres from the tent.
The nearest railway station is Ipswich, which has regular services from London Liverpool Street taking around 70 minutes. From Ipswich station a taxi to Hintlesham takes approximately 15 minutes.
