About Whoa-Stop

Whoa-Stop is a romantic shepherd's hut at Thompson Hall Retreats in Norfolk, sitting on the outskirts of Thetford Forest next to a Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve. This is glamping done properly. The private wood-fired hot tub and a double-ended free-standing bath on the verandah set it apart from your average countryside stay.

Thompson village is on your doorstep and the landscape here is genuinely peaceful. Guests have described it as blissfully quiet feeling like the only people around. The on-site Wilderness Spa includes a natural swimming pond, sauna, cold plunge and treatment rooms. You get complimentary one-hour access to the natural swimming pool included with your stay.

Inside the hut you get a king-size bed with bedding provided, a wood burning stove, gas hob, microwave, fridge and a 20-inch TV. The verandah has a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen with combi oven, gas fire pit and alfresco dining area. The shower room has a large shower, illuminated mirror and electric towel rail.
